Contact Us
A person reads every message. Email is the fastest way to reach us about the app.
- Email: jeff@christchurchmiami.org
- Phone: (305) 271-5262
- In person: 8485 SW 112th Street, Miami, FL 33156
We usually reply within two business days. If your message arrives over a weekend, expect to hear from us early the following week.
If Something Is Urgent
This page is not monitored around the clock. If you or someone you know is in immediate danger, call 911. If you are having thoughts of suicide or self-harm, call or text 988 — the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline, free and available 24 hours a day.
For urgent pastoral care, call the church office at (305) 271-5262 rather than emailing.
Common Questions
Who can see my prayer request?
It depends on what you chose when you posted it. A public request is visible to the church after a person on our team has reviewed it. An anonymous request is visible the same way, but your name is never shown. A private request is never published — it goes only to our pastors and staff. Nothing appears anywhere until a human has read it. Our privacy policy spells this out in full.
Can I take down something I posted?
Yes. Email jeff@christchurchmiami.org with the request and we will remove it from the wall. Our pastors keep a copy so they can continue praying for you — if you would rather they did not, say so in your message and we will delete it entirely.
I can't sign in.
Signing in works by email: you enter your address, we send a six-digit code, and you type it in. There is no password. If the code does not arrive, check your spam folder first — and if it still hasn't come through, email us and we will sort it out.
You do not need an account to read the prayer wall, watch a sermon, or read the daily devotional. Signing in is only needed to post.
How do I give?
Giving happens through Church Center, our Planning Center giving platform — tap Give in the app, or use christchurchmiami.org/give. The church never sees or stores your card details. You can give with a card, a bank transfer, Apple Pay or Google Pay, and set up recurring giving on the same screen.
Something in the app is broken.
Tell us what you were doing when it happened and what phone you are using — that usually saves a round of questions. Email jeff@christchurchmiami.org.
I'm getting too many notifications.
Open Me → Notifications. There are four separate switches and you can turn off any one of them without losing the others: the daily reading, reminders you set, replies to you, and from the church. If what is bothering you is announcements, turn off the last one and keep the reading.
Quiet hours are on by default, from 9 PM to 7 AM, and you can change the window. Two things still come through: your daily reading at the time you chose, and anything urgent about someone's safety. Everything else waits until morning.
Your reading arrives at 6:30 AM unless you change it, and you can set it to any time you like on the same screen.
If you turned notifications off for the whole app in your phone's settings, the app cannot turn them back on — that switch belongs to your phone. The Notifications screen has a button that takes you to the right place.
One thing worth knowing on Android: when you mute a category of notification, Android remembers that and the app cannot undo it. If you muted something and want it back, it has to be turned on in your phone's settings rather than in the app.
I want to delete my account.
You can do it yourself in the app: Me → Delete my account. You will be asked to type your email address to confirm, because this cannot be undone.
What gets deleted: your prayer requests come off the wall along with any notes on them, notes you sent to other people, your reading streak and the days you marked done, and notifications to your phone stop.
What stays: your church record. Planning Center holds your giving history, your family and your membership, and that belongs to your relationship with this church rather than to the app — so deleting the app account does not touch it. If you want that removed too, the church office can do it: (305) 271-5262.
Prayers you offered for other people also stay counted. Somebody else's "nine people prayed for this" should not quietly become eight because you left.
If you would rather not do it yourself, email jeff@christchurchmiami.org and we will. See the privacy policy for everything we hold.
